How to build your ClickCash affiliate text links

ClickCash supports both banner ads (like our HTML, Flash, and Image creative) as well as text links. Text links can be a wonderful addition to your marketing. They allow you more customization, allowing your marketing to appear more seamless. And they're automatically responsive for mobile, tablet, and PC marketing!

Places to Use Text Links
  • Ad Network Campaigns
  • Social Media Marketing
  • As links in blog articles on your site
  • Link exchanges
  • Email marketing
  • Header/Footer/Menu links on your site
  • Domain redirections
  • ...and many more places!
Text links give you a degree of flexibility and unabtrusiveness that you may not have with traditional banner marketing.

Creating a ClickCash Text Link
Any page on iFriends can be turned into a ClickCash text link. Here's how to do it:
  1. Visit the iFriends page you want to use as the destination for the link.
  2. Copy the URL of the page.
  3. Visit our Custom Text Link Builder.
  4. In the Destination Page pull down, pick "Select your own destination page".
  5. Paste the iFriends URL into the text box.
  6. Click "Get the Text Link"
Our Custom Text Link Builder will generate your commission-tracking URL for you!

ClickCash also offers a gallery of full-page landers that can be used either in text links or in domain redirects.

Looking for a specific type of landing page and not finding it? Let us know! We'd be happy to get our design team to work building you the pages you need!

Converting traffic may be challenging, but are you inadvertantly sabatoging your own campaigns? We've got your traffic check! Make sure you're incorporating these 5 simple steps to truly maximize your earnings. Turn more clicks into cash.

  1. Know your Product - Get to know iFriends. Enjoy a cam show (there's a free show with a top converting model every month!) or check out other services provided by iFriends models like phone sex, high def clips, membership clubs, and more. The more you know about iFriends, the better your marketing will be.

  2. Know your Audience - You know what turns your traffic on - it's in the keywords they used to find you. Make sure you connect them immediately with what they're after. Send them to the page that features the content they're after and they'll be joining in no time.

  3. Know your Niche - Going after those long-tail searches can pay off big: the better you are at linking those users to the specific type of model they're after, the faster they'll be putting money in your pocket. While deeper niches generate less traffic, that traffic converts in much higher numbers. Do your research, learn the lingo, and you'll see a definite return on your traffic. Our dynamic creative and full page landers are customizable to spotlight any niche and help you convert those clicks into cash.

  4. Know who Converts - Connecting users immediately with a live cam model tends to convert better than sending them to a landing page. Our Model Spotlight page updates weekly to display top converting models, as does the iFriends Award Winner page, too.

  5. Know your Stats - When you use our campaign manager, your Real-Time Stats gives you up-to-the minute information about which campaigns are converting and which might need some TLC.
Your Affiliate Representative is always availale to help you analyze your traffic and stats, as well as recommend updates that will get you a better ROI. Make some time to chat with them today!

Understanding your ClickCash Stats

Our Summary Stats give you a week-by-week overview of your account activity. They update in real time, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. There's a lot of info in your stats, so let's review what it all means with an example:

Let's pretend these are your stats for this week:

Raw Signups
You generated 17 signups during the current week. Awesome! Raw signups include paid AND potential signups.

A Potential Signup means that your referral needs to take extra steps before you get paid. These extra steps include spending money in live chat, if your users joined with your Pay Per Signup (PPS) or Revenue Share (Revshare) links. For Pay Per Email Signup (PPES) links, your referral must click on a link in the email iFriends sends them to verify their account.
Paid Signups
You were paid a commission for 12 signups during the current week. Way to go!

We track your referrals from the moment they click your link to the day they join the site and complete all the steps needed for you to get paid. That's why you'll often see a commission for a user that initially clicked on your links in the past week, month, or year(s), or that signed up previously but just now took the extra steps needed for you to get paid (this potential signup becomes a paid signup).

Raw Hits
You generated 5779 clicks on your affiliate links during the current week. Great job!

Each time your link(s) are clicked we record and count them up here. Repeated clicks from a single person are counted here.
Unique Hits
You generated 4800 unique clicks on your affiliate links during the current week.

Each time your link(s) are clicked we record it, BUT repeated clicks from a single person are not counted here. That’s why they are called Unique Hits, duh!

Stats are super easy to use, but if you need any help or clarification, just visit us in Live Chat Support or drop us a line. We know our stuff and are pretty friendly, too.

Email marketing with ClickCash

Email marketing is a great way to get your promotions to people interested in adult offers. ClickCash does allow you to market using email as long as:
  • Your marketing is in compliance with our posted T&C as well as our UCE Policy
  • Your emails are CAN-SPAM complaint and follow the anti-spam laws where your recipeints live
So what does that mean? Let's look at each of the bullet points to better understand them.

Compliance with the ClickCash T&C
The ClickCash Affilaite Marketing Agreement prohibits any type of marketing that:
  • Targets users under the age of 18
  • Misleads or misrepresents the user in any way about what iFriends is or what to expect
  • Offers users payment or incentive of any sort for joining iFriends
  • Is Spam, or otherwise unsolicited correspondence

Making your Emails CAN-SPAM compliant
No, this has nothing to do with that processed meat product your grandmother used to use in her fried rice. CAN-SPAM is the most important law to understand as an email marketer. If you violate the law, you'll be subject to fines and penalties from the US Government. Most countries have their own versions of the CAN-SPAM rules. We'll link to them below. We'll be focusing on the US version of this law. The most recent version can be downloaded via this link. Here's an overview of the main CAN-SPAM requirements:

  1. Use accurate header information. Your "From," "To," "Reply-To," and routing information - including originating domain name and email address - must accurately identify who initiated the message.

  2. Don't use tricky subject lines. The subject line must reflect the actual content of the message

  3. Identify the message as an ad. The law gives you a lot of leeway on how to do this, but you must clearly disclose somewhere that your message is an advertisement.

  4. Tell recipients where you’re located. Your message must include your valid physical postal address where you receive mail.

  5. Tell recipients how to opt out of receiving future email from you. Your message must include clear instructions on how the recipient can opt-out of future emails. This can be by email, or some other easy internet-based way to unsubscribe. Make sure your spam filter doesn’t block these opt-out requests.

  6. Honor opt-out requests asap. You must be able to process requests within 10 business days. You can't charge a fee, ask for more info, or make them take any other steps. You also cannot sell or transfer their email address. If you hire a company to help with your CAN-SPAM compliance, you can provide the email address to them.

  7. Watch what others are doing on your behalf. The law makes clear that even if you hire another company to handle your email marketing, you are still responsible with compliance with the law. So if that company violates the CAN-SPAM law, the FTC will fine both the company and you.
Mailchimp has a great list of links to anti-spam laws in other countries. Head over to their site to check it out!

Promote free live webcam shows
Each month, a different top model hosts a free live camshow on iFriends. Affiliates who market these free shows see an increase in both traffic and conversions.

We spotlight these shows to you in the ClickCash blog, as well as in the monthly Recommended Models to Promote email that goes straight to your inbox.

Special events such as these Customer Appreciation shows are a great way to introduce users to iFriends and entice them to join. Here are a few ways you can promote these high-converting shows:

On Social Media
Each special show has a unique link to use in your marketing. Combining this link with pictures of the model hosting the show in your Tweets, Facebook, Tumblr, Google+, and other postings will encourage clicks and signups through your affilaite links.

On Your Website
Our creative team generates new banners for each show. These banners feature the date and time of the next show and spotlight the model hosting it. Placing these banners on your own website encourages the click-throughs that lead to signups.

Email Campaigns
If you manage an adult email subscription list, use our promotional materials to market this show to your subscribers. We recommend sending out an email a week ahead of the show and a followup the day before.

On Social Media
Use your iFriends viewer account to watch the show. You can live tweet the action to your followers. Giving your followers a glimpse of the action entices them to join themselves. Click Here for our simple guide to live tweeting iFriens special events shows.

On Your Website
Using our Model Spotlight banners that stream a model's live feed, you can give visitors to your site a peek at the action. These banners lead straight to the model's live session where they can join through your affiliate link.

On Social Media
Models often log into live sessions immediately following their shows, so post follow-up pictures, reviews, and more about the event. If you follow the model on social media, be sure to give her a shot-out in your messages. Models love being mentioned and will often retweet those mentions to their followers.

On Your Website
Now that you've seen a bit of what the model has to offer, you can better promote her on your site. Use images from the show, or from her fanclub, to promote her in specific niches.

Email Campaigns
Just like with your website, now that you know how the model interacts with users and a bit more of what she has to offer, you can tailor custom email campaigns to spotlight her special talents to your subscribers. Switch your links to the Model Spotlight link to send users straight to her live sessions!

The next Customer Appreciation show on iFriends will be held Thursday, August 11th and will feature SWEETNADY.
